GPS
Baskerville-Donovan was one of the pioneering firms in the southeast to implement GPS (Global Positioning System) technology in the regular execution of surveys. Boundary & Topographic Surveys
For traditional boundary and topographic surveying projects, BDI Survey Crews utilize the latest in Total Station, Data Collection, Data Processing and CAD technology. Our field personnel are consistently trained to remain at the cutting edge of the industry; our crews are very efficient and timely – we collect, assemble and sort point data in the field. On a daily basis, this raw data is transferred to survey technicians, who compute and map the project to meet all local and state regulatory guidelines.

Geodetic & Control Surveys
Baskerville-Donovan crews, professional surveyors and technicians are experienced in the production of high-precision geodetic and control surveys. Our experience in large area control networks and boundary control has developed throughout the Eastern United States and South America. We use state-of-the-art GPS satellites and receivers to establish county-wide networks. The information that we have collected has been published as part of the Southeast Region Control Network and maintained by the National Geodetic Survey. As pioneers in the utilization of this new technology, we offer Static, Fast Static and Kinematic GPS Surveys.
Sub-Surface Utility Surveying
Subsurface Utility Surveying (SUS) is a name given to the process of designating, locating and mapping existing utilities. This process can be utilized for new utilities, upgrading of existing utilities and roadway construction or improvements.
Subsurface utility surveying is a viable solution to avoid underground utility line breaks and provides many benefits for our customers, including:
